Voting fairly

Vote honestly and by hand. Automated voting, scripts or coordinated campaigns to push a dish up or down are not allowed; we may discard such votes and block access.

What you send us

When you submit a dish, photo or tip, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You give FoodELO a free, worldwide licence to publish, edit and display it on the site. Editors decide what is published.

Don't submit anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights.

Photos

You may only send in photos you took yourself. By sending one you confirm that, and you give FoodELO a free, worldwide, non-exclusive and permanent licence to publish, crop, resize and display it on the site and in material promoting FoodELO. You keep the copyright. If you ask to be credited, your display name is shown with the photo.

Published photos stay on FoodELO when you delete your account, because they are part of the dish pages. Your name is then removed from them. If you want a photo of yours taken down, contact us.

The ranking

Rankings reflect our visitors' votes, not the opinion of FoodELO. They're for fun and inspiration, without any guarantee of accuracy.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
